Basil grapefruit mojito
Imbibe in style, with ingredients you can grow in your backyard.
It's still peak grapefruit time, and what better way to celebrate than with this citrusy twist on the classic mojito? It's fresh and crisp, and really easy to make.
- 2 large ruby red grapefruits, juiced
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 4 ounces rum
- 10 basil leaves, more for garnish
- Soda water
Add half of the basil leaves to a collins glass, along with half of the sugar and a splash of rum. Muddle.
Overfill the glass with ice and add in the juice from one grapefruit, half of the rum, and just enough soda water to top off.
Garnish with grapefruit wedges and basil.
