Apricot raspberry smoothie
Layer upon layer of sweet, fruity freshness in a glass.
It's summertime, so naturally it's smoothie time. This fun layered smoothie takes advantage of all those fresh berries and stone fruit. While the recipe calls for frozen fruit, you can use fresh. You may have to put it in the freezer a bit after blending.
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen apricots
- 1 cup cashew milk
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 1/4 deciliter orange juice
- 1/2 cup ice

Directions
I suggest blending the apricot smoothie first because then you don't need to rinse out the blender. If you do the raspberry one first, both layers will be pink.
Blend the apricot ingredients. Divide the smoothie between two glasses.
Blend the raspberry ingredients. Pour over a spoon into the two glasses.
I originally set the apricot aside to put it on top. Don't do that, it just dirties a bowl.
