How would your city look in virtual reality?

You may find out soon. A startup is offering 3D video tours of cities around the world.

It's coooold out there, which probably means you're spending more time than usual inside huddled up next to the heater.

Inception VR, an Israeli startup whose mission it is to produce top quality content for virtual reality systems like the Oculus Rift, doesn't want that to stop you from being able to explore some of the coolest places on earth.

The company is working on a series of city guides around the world and first up is Tel Aviv, Israel.

Developed in partnership with Time Out Tel Aviv magazine, it comes with a local guide and options to explore the food, nightlife, and other aspects of Tel Aviv that have made it one of the trendiest cities in the world.

To maximize the full experience, you’ll need the Inception app, available for Oculus Rift, Android, iOS, and Samsung Gear.

Though launched just last year, Inception VR has already rolled out ambitious plans for the near future and is currently working with Time Out London to develop projects in that city as well.
