The Game of Thrones thrilling season finale ended with Daenerys Targaryen, or the Khaleesi, sailing her new armada boldly toward Westeros. As the mother of dragons has grown more powerful, so too has her fierce, stunning style that manages to captivate us season after season. It’s Daenerys' medieval-inspired draping gowns, strategic cut-outs and romantic silhouettes that make the "Game of Thrones" character the perfect muse for summer fashion inspiration.

While we’d put on most of Daenerys' looks, battle wear isn’t something we’re into, yet. So, we’ve navigated through the mother of dragons’ fashion through the seasons to share her more practical, fashion-forward looks you can draw inspiration (and confidence!) from this summer.

Demure cutouts

Israeli-American fashion designer Yigal Azrouel, who's dressed everyone from Rihanna and Gwyneth Paltrow to Olivia Wilde and Jessica Alba, offers demure cutouts in unexpected places such as the chest in this summery white paneled dress. Plus, you can't go wrong with a scalloped hem which is on-trend this season.

International fashion designer Inbal Dror, who studied at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Israel, designs for a strong woman with undeniable confidence. Sounds like someone we know! You’ll conquer any room you step foot in this season wearing a two piece with dramatic neckline and delicate lace detailing from Dror’s Fall 2016 Runway show.

Bohemian chic

Pull off Daenerys’ blue and gold gown with this long and flowing tie-dye printed dress with adjustable knit straps by the Spanish-based Zara fashion brand. A deep v-neck and long flounce skirt in a bold pattern, such as tie-dye, is ultra comfortable and flattering on any body type.

Bow straps

While Khaleesi’s dress could appear too monarchial and serious, the bow strap detailing lightens the look and adds a touch of whimsy while drawing attention to the shoulder and neckline areas. Reformation’s cool colored plunging V-neck gown with sweet bows is summer affair perfect.
