Celebrate April Fools' Day watching epic pranks from 'Deal With It'

Howie Mandel and friends have had a good time directing pranks in the TBS series.

When it comes to high-concept pranks, not many people do it better than Howie Mandel. "Deal With It" on TBS is the latest in a series of hidden-camera practical-joke shows that he loves because, as he told From The Grapevine, "It’s unscripted and it’s real people reacting to these unreal situations. So it’s very visceral. As an audience, you sit there and you go, 'Oh my god, they believe that' or 'Look how they’re reacting,' or 'I didn’t believe that,' or 'I wouldn’t ever react that way.' "

In the show, which is based on an Israeli series and produced by Israeli studio Keshet International, Mandel and a gaggle of celebrity guests direct contestants via an earpiece to throw off their dining companion with increasingly nutty statements or activities, trying to see where the contestant's breaking point is. The contestant earns more money as the stunts get more outrageous.

To celebrate April Fools' Day, here's a few of the best pranks from the show's two seasons:

Josh Gad tells someone to wash his socks in his dinner glass

On the show, this was only a mid-level prank. You would think this would be embarrassing enough to get the top prize. Got to love how startled the guy's dining companion is when she sees him take off his socks.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner come out of the booth

The celebrity is in a back room with host Theo Von most of the time, but Kendall and Kylie Jenner (Kim Kardashian's half-sisters) really wanted to show their faces when they prompted their contestant to say that his companion was "Kardashian crazy," and she upped the ante.

Bobby Lee sends in a slapper

Imagine sitting at a table with your girlfriend or wife, and some random woman comes into the restaurant and slaps your face? That's what actor Bobby Lee did to this poor guy, who was instructed to keep his mate in the restaurant and not chase after the slapper.

Howie Mandel pays for a kiss

If this contestant manages to kiss his friend on the lips, he gets the entire pot. Is it worth it? You be the judge.
