Quentin Tarantino, Daniella Pick expecting baby and moving to Israel

This will be the first child for the acclaimed film director and the Israeli musician.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood .... a middle-aged bachelor married a Mediterranean musician. The next thing you know, the two are expecting a child and setting up a home together.

We're raising a glass of wine from an Israeli vineyard and sending out our hearty congratulations to Quentin Tarantino and his wife, Daniella Pick. The couple, married last Novemeber, have just announced that Baby #1 is on the way. This doesn't come as a total surprise. After all, the 56-year-old Tarantino hinted that he was looking forward to fatherhood when he appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" this summer. "I just got married," he told the talk show host. "I want to have kids."

In addition to their home in Hollywood, the couple has reportedly rented a 5,000-square-foot luxury home in Tel Aviv. The house is near several hospitals in case that's where they plan on giving birth. Tarantino has expressed plans to retire after his tenth film. His ninth, "Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood," was released earlier this year.

Tarantino and Pick, who had a brief cameo in her husband's new film, had been dating off and on since 2009 when Tarantino was in Israel promoting one of his films. (He was later asked back to open the Jerusalem Film Festival in 2016.) The two got engaged in 2017 and were married in 2018 in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. The bride chose fashion designer Dana Harel, a fellow Israeli, to make her wedding gown.

The 35-year-old Pick may be new to celebrity-watchers in America, but she's well-known in her native Israel. Pick's dad is legendary songwriter Svika Pick, once named "Israel's Male Singer of the Year." Daniella first started singing in the early 2000s as a duo with her sister Sharona, and even appeared in a qualifying round for the Eurovision contest. While she favored a pop flair at the start of her singing career, her taste in music has now evolved into more of an Adele-meets-Amy Winehouse vibe, as you can see in the video below.

As the couple begins the nesting process at their new Israeli home, we have just one question: If it's a girl, will they name her Jackie Brown?
