Oz, meet Dr. Oz: Mentalist ends 2016 on a high note
'America's Got Talent' finalist caps off busy year with a trifecta of TV appearances.
Oz Pearlman, the "America's Got Talent" finalist, has had a very busy 2016. At least, that's what we thought a few weeks ago when we curated our favorite tricks that he performed on TV this year. Well, it turns out the 34-year-old Israeli-born magician wasn't anywhere near finished.
In the past week alone, Pearlman has made multiple television appearances to cap out his productive year, including stops on the "Dr. Oz Show," the "Today Show," and on CNBC's "Squawk Box."
Let's start with his debut showing on the "Dr. Oz Show." Believe it or not, it was the first time the similarly named Oz duo (what's the plural, Ozi?) appeared together on TV. The good doctor had Pearlman perform a few tricks. In this first clip, the mentalist reads the mind of Dr. Oz himself.
After a brief commercial break, Pearlman turned to the audience and somehow correctly figured out the specific dates and types of injuries sustained by two unsuspecting women.
Next up for Pearlman was an appearance yesterday on the "Today Show." The NBC morning show is a popular stomping ground for the magician. (See previous appearances here, here and here.) On this episode, he masterfully wowed host Tamryn Hall and guest host actor Tituss Burgess from the show "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" with some mentalism to ring in the new year.
And speaking of the new year, Pearlman appeared this morning on the CNBC show "Squawk Box" to make some stock predictions for 2017 and have some general fun at the hosts' expense.
