Mentalist Oz Pearlman stuns 'Today' show hosts

Mind reader performs three eye-popping tricks in under seven minutes.

Oz Pearlman continues to impress. The mentalist and magician has been performing at breakneck speed since landing a spot on the finale of "America's Got Talent." He's been on TV and performing at charity events. Just a few weeks ago, he performed at a private family party for Steven Spielberg, and this week debuted his live show in New York City.

This morning, the 33-year-old Israeli-born Pearlman appeared on the "Today" show in front of millions of people. But his real audience was the three hosts standing right in front of him. The anchors of the "Today" show are fluent in the fine art of the celebrity interview and the witty banter required for a cooking segment. But the even-keeled hosts were quite flummoxed once Pearlman got going.

In less than seven minutes, he performed three stunning tricks that had them dumbfounded. Take a look for yourself in the video below:

This was not the first time Pearlman has performed for the "Today" show. Back in August, he was able to correctly guess what each of them were thinking in a special weekend segment about birthday parties.

We called Pearlman right after the show this morning, and he was already in a car service on his way to LaGuardia. He's flying to Denver where he'll be performing tonight. While changing out of his suit in the backseat, he told us he was happy with this morning's tricks. "It's always an adventure," he said. "Every time you do it, you get a little better at it."

After Denver, he's off to Florida, then Pasadena, back to Florida, then St. Martin and the Turks and Caicos Islands. All of that is just in the next 10 days. He's already been to Florida half a dozen times this year. "At this point, I should get a Florida driver's license," Pearlman joked.

And with that, he exited the cab, rushed into the airport and – poof! – disappeared.
