Lady Gaga plans to perform in Tel Aviv this September

Eclectic pop star's ARTPOP tour makes stop at 50,000-seat Yarkon Park amphitheater.

Lady Gaga’s fans in Israel have a reason to celebrate. She will be performing in Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park on Sept. 13 as part of her ArtRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour.

Gaga released her third studio album, ARTPOP, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, in November 2013. Since the album’s release, her fans have been anxiously awaiting her next tour. Gaga ended her Born This Way tour early in 2013 and had to cancel a number of dates because of a hip injury. Making it up to fans, Gaga is visiting all the cities in which she canceled shows and is adding new cities as well. She’ll be performing at more than 35 cities in the United States and Canada during the summer before taking her tour abroad.

Lady Gaga’s show, known for its over-the-top theatrics, will include a stage made out of Lucite that extends well into the crowd. This will allow her fans to dance underneath her during the concert.

The international tour will take her around the globe and will include concerts all over Europe, Australia and Asia.

This will be Lady Gaga’s second concert in Israel. She performed in 2009 at the Israeli Trade Fairs and Convention Center, alongside British rock band Kaiser Chiefs and Canadian pop-rock band Simple Plan at the Non Stop Musix Festival.

Lady Gaga is among several high-profile acts performing in Israel this year, including Neil Young, Justin Timberlake, Soundgarden and Deep Purple. The Rolling Stones, who have never performed in Israel before, are set to appear at the same venue as Lady Gaga on June 4.
