Intricate eyelid art gets Katy Perry's attention
Israeli artist Tal Peleg creates a new makeup movement.
Israeli artist Tal Peleg is creating quite a stir in the world of makeup. She's essentially taken the intricate art of nail painting and transformed eyelids in much the same way. Using bright, bold colors and amazingly tiny details, Peleg has crafted artistic mini-landscapes inspired by movies, fairy tales and even television shows in a space no larger than an inch or two.
“I've tried to use makeup as something more than a tool to make girls look pretty – a way to express feelings, to tell a story,” Peleg told Glamour last year.
Even celebrities are are noticing Peleg's work. Katy Perry loved a cat-related eye art creation so much that she shared it on Twitter to her more than 50 million followers:
