Here's the music Spotify listeners love in 10 countries around the world
Hint: Hip hop is king.
I stream, you stream, we all stream for ... Drake?
That's about right. Now that Sweden-based music streaming service Spotify lets you see what the citizens of almost every country are streaming, we're able to get a super-close, real-time look at the music tastes of our world. And one thing is very clear: hip hop is definitely having a moment.
The Global Spotify Charts rank "Nice for What" by Canadian rapper Drake as the most streamed song in the world as of April 16, 2018. Look a little closer, and you'll see Drake's global chart domination, with his other single, "God's Plan," narrowly beating out artists such as Cardi B, The Weeknd and Post Malone.

So, OK, Drake, you win this round. But what if we dig in a little deeper, say, into a few of the many countries in which Spotify has become the "it" music app? What are the top 3 most streamed songs in, say, Switzerland? What about a Spanish-speaking nation like Bolivia, or a Mediterranean melting pot like Israel?
Buckle up, and enjoy the world tour.
